Data Deletion Instructions

North ("we," "us," or "our"), operated by North Coach (CVR 46406087, Denmark), provides the web application at northcoach.net. You have the right to request deletion of any personal data we hold about you at any time. This page describes exactly how to do it and what happens when you do.

1. What Data We Hold About You

When you sign in to North, we store:

  • Your name, email address, and profile picture from your social sign-in provider (Google or Facebook)
  • An encrypted OAuth token used to authenticate your sessions
  • Coaching data you create inside the app: team members, 1-on-1 notes, journal entries, pulse ratings, playbook progress, AI conversation history, and preferences

2. Option A — Delete Your Data From Inside the App

The fastest way to delete your account and all associated data:

  1. Sign in at app.northcoach.net.
  2. Open Settings from the sidebar.
  3. Scroll to Account & Data and click Delete my account.
  4. Confirm the deletion.

Your account, profile, OAuth tokens, and all coaching data will be permanently deleted from our servers immediately. This action cannot be undone.

3. Option B — Request Deletion by Email

If you can't sign in or prefer to email us, send a deletion request to:

support@northcoach.net

Please include:

  • The email address you used to sign in to North
  • The social provider you signed in with (Google or Facebook)
  • The subject line "Data Deletion Request"

We will confirm receipt within 2 business days and complete the deletion within 30 days, in line with GDPR requirements. We will send a confirmation email once deletion is complete.

4. Option C — Revoke Access From Your Social Account

You can also revoke North's permission to access your social account. This stops North from being able to sign you in or fetch your profile, and triggers automatic deletion of your encrypted OAuth tokens on our side.

Revoking access removes our tokens but does not automatically delete the coaching data you've stored in North. To delete that data as well, use Option A or B above.

5. What Gets Deleted

When you complete a deletion request, the following is permanently removed from our systems:

  • Your account record (name, email, profile picture)
  • Encrypted OAuth tokens and session identifiers
  • All coaching data: team members, 1-on-1 notes, journal entries, pulse ratings, playbook progress, AI conversation history, preferences, and any other content stored under your account

Encrypted database backups may retain a copy for up to 30 days before being overwritten in the normal backup rotation. Backups are not used for any purpose other than disaster recovery.

We may retain a minimal record (your email address and the deletion timestamp) for up to 12 months solely to demonstrate compliance with this deletion request if required by law.
